Ingredients
 

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • ½ cup mayonnaise we use Kewpie
  • 1 pound fresh salmon skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups cucumbers sliced into half-moons
  • 1 stalk green onion sliced thin
  • Jasmine rice for serving
  • Black sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Make the sauce by combining the soy sauce, maple syrup, chili garlic sauce, and sriracha.

  • Make the spicy mayo by whisking 2 tablespoons of the sauce from step 1 with the mayonnaise.
    ½ cup mayonnaise
  • Set both sauces aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Once heated, add the salmon pieces and the sauce from step 1.

  • Cook the salmon, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes until it reaches your desired doneness.
  • Serve with jasmine rice and sliced cucumbers, top with green onion, spicy mayo, and black sesame seeds, and enoy!
