1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise + more for your buns, ½ teaspoon paprika, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, pinch cayenne, 1½ teaspoon kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 1 pound ground chicken
  • Form the chicken mixture into four thin patties (see note 2 below).
  • Coat each patty in your crushed cornflakes, ensuring that each side is evenly coated.
    3 cups corn flakes
  • Airfry at 400°F for 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the cornflakes are golden brown and crispy.
  • Enjoy your "McChicken" inside a bun with mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, and your favorite sauce!
    4 buns, shredded lettuce

Notes

  1. An easy way to crush your cornflakes is to place them in a large, Ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin (or a wine bottle in a pinch).
  2. You can also replace the cornflakes with panko bread crumbs for a similar effect.
  3. Wet your hands with cold water before forming your patties. It will help keep the chicken from sticking to them!
